Vale Marja Barouh

We are saddened to report that our longstanding employee and friend, Marja Barouh, passed away on 18 February 2024 at the age of 68 after a long illness. She was with the firm for more than 35 years, with some breaks to pursue other ventures. This photo of her was taken at her desk in 1989.

Marja was born in Holland and came from a large family (she was one of eleven children). She commenced work in our office as a Titles Office Clerk, a position made redundant with the age of computerisation. With an aptitude for deeds and documents, Marja ensured our records were always up to date. She was fastidious in the way she would ensure documents were properly executed, relevant and current. She loved staying connected with clients and following their progress.

Marja loved travel, was a partygoer, and had wide interests. We thank her for making our work environment such a happy place and we pass on our condolences to her two children.
